ABOUT

PTYPAA, or Piedmont Triad Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous, is a service committee simply here to provide a venue for young, recovering people to engage in fellowship. We also strive to be a conduit for service work within our AA community. In regards to business and events, we welcome anyone and everyone from all over, but we are located in the triad area of NC. For more information on NCCYPAA and the upcoming conference events visit www.nccypaa.org

Our business meetings are held at Common Grounds Coffee Shop. They are currently held primarily in Greensboro, NC. We meet the first Thursday of every month from 5:00-7:00pm at the following address:

Please join us for any of our business meetings and be sure to look at the events page for upcoming fellowship opportunities. If you are not able to attend a meeting and would like to stay up to date, our meeting minutes will be emailed out to everyone on our committee email list. If you would like to join that email list or want additional information, please send an email to our outreach chair. That address can be found under the contact tab. If you are interested in becoming an officer in the committee, be sure to be present at elections. Elections occur the first week in October annually. Election Procedures can be found in the committee by laws in the following pages.

Piedmont Triad Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous is committed to providing a strong, unified fellowship of young recovering people in the Piedmont Triad area. In accordance with AA's 12 Traditions and 12 Concepts for World Service we host a variety of both recovery related and fellowship focused events along with encouraging participation in statewide NCCYPAA functions. In the spirit of service, our primary purpose is to share the message of recovery to newcomers in an attractive setting for young people.
